Päť diel slovenskej produkcie získalo nomináciu na európsky mediálny festival Prix Europa 2006. Do súťaže, ktorá sa skončila včera sa prihlásilo 209 televíznych, rozhlasových a internetových staníc z 35 krajín sveta. Na festival bolo nominovaných viac ako 600 diel, ktoré súťažili v deviatich kategóriách. Hlavnou témou podujatia je dosah globalizácie na život v Európe, ktorá sa objavuje vo väčšine prihlásených príspevkov. Slovenská televízia uspela dvoma nomináciami: fikciou Ticho režisérky Zuzany Liovej a dielom Mesto lietajúcich slov od Martiny Diosiovej. Nomináciu dostal aj rozhlasový dokument Nepriatelia štátu - veriaci autorky Márie Samuhelovej z produkcie Slovenského rozhlasu, ktorý do súťaže prispeje aj ďalšími dvoma príspevkami. Z kategórie dramatickej rozhlasovej tvorby je to Dievča na telefón Ivice Ruttkayovej a internetové vysielanie radioART zamerané na súčasné akustické umenie. Pri samotných oceneniach však slovenské audiovizuálne diela neuspeli.
