33rd Annual Annie Award 
Na 33. ročníku odovzdávania cien Medzinárodnej spoločnosti animovaného filmu Annie v kalifornskom Glendale kraľovala snímka Wallace a Gromit: Prekliatie králikodlaka. Ceny často napovedajú, kto zvíťazí v honbe za Oscarom v kategórii najlepší animovaný film.
Wallace a Gromit: Prekliatie králikodlaka bude podľa odborníkov tento rok to najlepšie, čo Veľká Británia môže zo svojej filmovej produkcie ponúknuť. Kreslená snímka získala na Annie cenu za najlepší animovaný film, efekty, animáciu postáv, hudbu, charaktery, réžiu, produkciu, scenár, dabing a dej. Snímka z produkcie štúdia Walta Disneyho Lilo & Stitch 2: Stich has a Glitch získala cenu v kategórii najlepší film z domácej produkcie. The Fan and the Flower zasa vymenovali za najlepší krátky animovaný film a prím v kategórii najlepšia reklama získal Mr. Pants za upútavky na spoločnosť United Airlines. Televízna spoločnosť Cartoon Network si vďaka seriálu Star Wars: Clone Wars II odniesla cenu za najlepšiu televíznu produkciu, kreslič Ernie Gilbert za postavu z Nickelodeon’s The Fairly Odd Parents, režisér Peter Shin získal Annie za The Family Guy, Seth McFarland sa tešil z ceny za dabing postavy Stewieho v rovnakej snímke a scenáristický tím kresleného animovaného seriálu SpongeBob SquarePants za epizódu Fear of a Krabby Patty. Cena za najlepšie animovanú videohru putovala za Ultimate Spider-man do spoločností Activision a Treyarch.
Medzi nominovanými bol aj Slovák Martzin Ušiak za film Madagascar -špeciálne efekty (lighting & effects) robil aj pre Shreka
